150 Pound Medicine Ball Press

Lynn’s been training twice weekly with Doug Nepodal, one of the world’s best kettlebell trainers for nearly ten years. He ends every workout with ten 150-pound medicine ball presses.
While this is undoubtedly part of a good workout, this move has benefits beyond basic toning and strengthening– and that’s why Lynn does it.
Lynn says, “medicine ball presses allow me to gain strength for a grappling or fighting situation. Most of the body’s strength resides in our legs–so I know that if I can press a 150-pound medicine ball, I can push someone the size of a UFC heavyweight off of me if need be.”
